He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley Fowler Terry; his parents, Julius Reed Terry and Agnes Green Terry; his grandson James Cody Terry; and his siblings, Jerry "Buttercup" Terry, Johnny Terry, Frances House, Barbara Black, Margaret Inman, Marlene Spencer and Laura Wade.
He is survived by: his son James Todd Terry (Penny) of Gaffney; his stepson Andy Burns (Jane) of Spartanburg; his grandchildren, Joshua Luke Terry (Kendall), Danielle Edwards (Christopher) and Lindsay Horton (Mac); and his great grandchildren, James Horton and Margaret Horton.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Corinth Baptist Church (190 State Rd S-11-54, Gaffney, SC 29340). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
