It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Herman Hollis of Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on July 12, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Hollis and Edna Mae Wood Hollis; his sister Margaret Hollis; and his grandson Pierre Hollis. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline D Hollis; his son James Hollis Jr. (Vernique) of Gaffney; his stepchildren, Atiya Hollis (Laundrae) of Atlanta, GA and Sandi Coleman of Gaffney; his siblings, Grady Hollis, Baxter Hollis, Marshall Hollis (Shirley), Priscilla Lockart and Sylvia Leach; and his grandchildren, Rolandon Hollis (Shardae), Jaylan Hollis and Rodericus Rogers Jr.. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
