He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sherry Crocker Strickland; his parents, Betty Castleberry Strickland of Griffin, GA and William "Billy" Strickland; his children, Christopher Strickland of Griffin, GA and Shannon Farrell (Frank) of Williamston, GA; his stepchildren, Scott Bostic of Chesnee, Tracy Bostic of Chesnee, Shelly Hipps (Gary) of Chesnee and Myka Lester (Doug) of Chesnee; and his sisters, Connie Wright (Grover "Peewee") of Spartanburg and Darlene Wynn of Griffin, GA. He was also cherished by twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
