He is survived by: his children, Dennis Robert Spencer, Dana Spencer Mahaffey (Jefferson) of Inman and Debbie Spencer Hamilton (Cecil) of Pacolet; his sister Mary Bolin of Gaffney; his grandchildren, Todd Humphries (Ashley), Timothy Humphries, Jeru Mahaffey (Anna) and Jennifer Lawless (John); and his great grandchildren, Chloe Humphries, Carrie Humphries, Brooke Humphries, Michael Lawless, Nicholas Lawless, Evie Lawless, Elijah Mahaffey and Lucas Mahaffey.
