He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Douglas Blackwood and Edna Nix Blackwood; his brother Robert Blackwood; and his grandson Ryan Shull. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Largent Blackwood; his children, Harry Douglas Blackwood Jr. and Keely Richardson-Shull (Todd) of Columbia; and his grandchildren, Kinsley Richardson, Kasey Richardson, Amanda Morgan and Wesley Shull.
