He is survived by: his wife Claudia Glenn Vassy Butler; his parents, Harley Ware Butler and Lillie Mae Bryant Butler; his children, Paul Butler (Jessica) and Ashlee Tate; his granddaughter Nevaeh Mack; his brother Don Butler (Connie) of Mooresville, NC; and his brother-in-law Dave Vassy (Becky). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
