It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Glenn Teaster (Gaffney, South Carolina), born in Pacolet, South Carolina, who passed away on May 11, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Etta George Teaster; his parents, William Otis Teaster and Nettie Beatrice Reynolds Teaster; his daughter Libby Hodge; his siblings, Lloyd Teaster, Lawrence Teaster, Carl Teaster, Clyde Teaster and Evelyn Crawford; his grandson Adam Thompson; and his great grandchild Chloe Teaster.
He is survived by: his children, William Glenn "Bill" Teaster (Sue) of Gaffney, Jimmy Teaster (Lora) of Pacolet, Ransom Teaster (Debbie) of Gaffney, Claudette Thompson (Vernon) of Pacolet, Elaine Price (Johnny) of Gaffney, Diane Price (Dennis) of Gaffney and Debbie McCraw of Pacolet; his brothers, Howard Teaster of Pacolet, Paul Teaster of Pacolet and Elbert Teaster of Gaffney; and his son-in-law Jimmy Hodge of Spartanburg. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
