We are sad to announce that on August 20, 2024, at the age of 93, Fred McBride of Gaffney, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley Teeters McBride; his parents, Roland E. McBride and Mary Leora Hepler McBride; his son-in-law Robert Cooke; and his siblings, Carl McBride and Anna Fay Payton.
He is survived by: his children, Fred L. McBride of Gaffney, Eric F. McBride of Gaffney, Brett J. McBride of Gaffney, Lynn Ritchie (Dale) of Chesnee and Niki Cooke of Gaffney; and his grandchildren, Erica, Tara, Nettie, Cortney, Bridgette, Seth and Katy. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
