She was predeceased by: her spouse Freelin Mullinax; her parents, James Claude Smith and Clara Inman Smith; her siblings, Claudis Kirby, Roselle Eaves, Elizabeth Hammett, Maryann Gregg and John F. Smith; and her granddaughter April Upchurch.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Ingle McCue of Gaffney; her siblings, Joe Smith of Gaffney and Doris Smith of Spartanburg; her grandchildren, Jennifer Best, Brandon Staggs (Kelssie) and Morgan Staggs Hill (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Christian, Alan, Logan, Ethan, Caleb, Luke, Levi, Reagan and Axel; and her great great grandchild Elliott.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Blakely Funeral Home (1047 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Skull Shoals Baptist Church (460 Skull Shoals Rd, Gaffney, SC 29340).
