It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ella Smith (Gaffney, South Carolina), who passed away on January 26, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Bishop Smith; her parents, Neil Frank Burt and Bessie Hayward Burt; and her siblings, Edith McKernan, Norma Plante, Leon Burt and Donald Burt.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Bishop Smith, Jr. (Vicki) of Anderson, Janice Smith of Orlando and Alison Godfrey (Johnnie) of Gaffney; and her grandchildren, Faith Spradling, Andrew Hallman (Christin), Rebecca (Sebastian) of Valcourt, Pamela Schult (Matt), Kari Beth Smith, Donald Smith, III, Jenna Godfrey and Haleigh Godfrey.
