She was predeceased by: her husband Preston Ross; her parents, James Arthur Kirby and Sadie Jefferies Kirby; her siblings, Allen Kirby, Mary Kirby and Hattie Kirby; her daughter Shawnta Kirby Lynch; and her godson Tracy Littlejohn.
She is survived by: her daughters, Prestina Cromwell (Bryant) of Chesnee and Sheri Ross of Gaffney; her grandchildren, Daryn, Omarion Ross, Madyah and Nyla Cromwell; her siblings, Dr. George Kirby Sr. (Janie) of Blacksburg, William T. Kirby of Chesnee, Paula Kirby of Gaffney, Luticia Rodgers of Gaffney, Annie Kirby of Gaffney and Anita Greene (Zach); her godsons, Scottie Littlejohn (Tennille) of Anderson and Vernon Kirby (Sandra) of Jasper, TN; and her brother-in-law James Ross (Elizabeth) of Shelby, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
