She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Hughey and Carrie Sanders Hughey; her son Jimmy McDaniel; and her daughter-in-law Judy Carver McDaniel. She is survived by: her children, Glenn "Dugle" McDaniel of Gaffney, Steve McDaniel (Cindy) of Gaffney, Billy McDaniel (Lisa) of Gaffney, Lisa McDaniel Waters of Gaffney and Tina McDaniel of Gaffney; her siblings, G. B. Hughey of Gaffney, Ruth West of Gaffney, Anita Blanton of Gaffney and Joann Hughey of Gaffney; and her grandchildren, Sissy Blackwell, Shelley Smith (Scott), Micah Lanier, Ashley Mullinax, Christopher McDaniel, Jeremy McDaniel, Jimmy Lee Waters, Jr. and Melissa McDaniel. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
