She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Earl Black; her parents, Douglas Eugene Mathis and Allene Phillips Mathis; her nephew Douglas Mathis of Gaffney; her nieces, Leanne Gibson (Johnny) of Gaffney and Miranda Mathis of Gaffney; and her brothers, Randy Mathis of Gaffney and Danny Mathis of Gaffney.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Blakely Funeral Home (1047 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341).
