He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Wyatt Dover; his parents, Andrew Jackson Dover and Virgie Martin Dover; and his siblings, Dan Dover, Marvin Dover, Junior Dover, Doc Dover, Doris Evans and Velma Campbell.
He is survived by: his children, Joey Dover of Gaffney, David Dover (Kathi) of Boiling Springs, SC and Christina Lawter of Gaffney; his grandchildren, David Lee Dover (Amanda), Hailey Beck and Michael Lawter; and his great grandchild Brayden Dover. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
