It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claudia Glenn Butler of Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on August 28, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Leon Vassy and Mary Paul Glenn Vassy; her husband Steve Butler; and her mother-in-law Lillie Mae Bryant Butler. She is survived by: her son Paul Butler (Jessica); her granddaughter Nevaeh; her daughter Ashlee Tate; her brother Dave Vassy (Becky); her father-in-law Harley Ware Butler; her brother-in-law Don Butler (Connie); her godchildren, Margaret Anne White (Timothy) and Philip Dieckman (Marie); and her friends, Dr. Tommy Huddleston, Reverend Kevin Hampton, Dave Vassy, Miss Ashlee Tate, Tomi Wier, JoAnn Dieckmann, Shirley Callahan and LeAnn Phillips.
