He is survived by: his wife Patsy Carolyn Lawson; his sons, Jeff Lawson (Melissa) of Gaffney and Matt Lawson (Dianne) of Gaffney; his siblings, John Lawson (Isolde) of Greenwood, Jane Carey (Lloyd) of Manchester, MI and Rhonda Baldwin of Gaffney; his brother-in-law Earl Hess of Gaffney; his granddaughter Chasity Skipper (Tony); his great grandchildren, Anthony Skipper and Greyson Skipper; his stepgranddaughter Allison Reynolds; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Julia White.
