She was predeceased by: her husband James P. Cooksey; her parents, Hyder Phillips and Martha Owensby Phillips; and her son Earl "Jack" Cleveland Cooksey. She is survived by: her son James Cooksey; and her granddaughter Jennifer Kierzek. She is also survived by four great-granddaughters.
