He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Spencer and Lois Maynor Spencer; his wife Maxine Lavender Spencer; and his siblings, William R, Jack Alonzo, Leroy, Sue Childers, Virginia Childers and Judy Gantt.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda S. Wright (Doug); his granddaughter Lindsay K. Wright of Gaffney; his siblings, Mary Bolin and Jack Junior Spencer; and his family Gaffney Indians. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
