She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford N. Holtzclaw and Argie H. Turner; her close friend Millie Donahue; her husband Miles Donald Tate, Sr.; her siblings, Joyce H. Monday and Raeford N. Holtzclaw; and her granddaughter Isabel Faith Garmroth.
She is survived by: her sister Martha Patrick (Shane) of Lake City, S. C.; her children, Nancy Tate of Spartanburg, S. C., Donnie Tate (Libby) of Gaffney, S. C. and David Tate (Patti) of Charleston, S. C.; her grandchildren, Neely Lashford (Thomas) of Simpsonville, S. C., Zachary Tate of Columbia, SC and Payton Tate of Charleston, S. C.; her great grandchild Lottie Clare Lashford; her niece Patsy Turner (S. C.); and her caregivers, Janet Winstead, Crystal Powell, Gabby Kirby and Taylor Crump.
