The memory of Carolyn Hopper of Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on March 2, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her spouse Jessie Hopper; her parents, June Whelchel and Nettie Wyatt; her siblings, Robert Wyatt, Gladys Pennington and Barbara Brown; and her siblings-in-law, Connie Wyatt and Bobby Brazell.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Sprouse (Kathy) of Gaffney, Sandra Phillips (Tim) of Cowpens, Wanda Childers and Teresa "Susie" Sprouse (Robbie); her stepchildren, Trey Hopper of Gaffney and Jessica Campbell of Gaffney; and her siblings, Andy Wyatt of Gaffney and Sue "Pinkie" Brazell of Gaffney. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Blakely Funeral Home (1047 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341). A memorial service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel (1047 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341).
