She was predeceased by: her parent Pvt; her stepfather Boyd Hughey; and her siblings, Dean Jones (Joyce), Linda Mullinax (Furman) and Vickie Shelton (Johnny).
She is survived by: her daughter Brook Patterson (Bryan) of Gaffney; her siblings, Rodger Hughey (Debra) of Gaffney, Rickey Hughey (Claudia) of Gaffney, Frances Young (Ted) of Spartanburg, Barbara Mullinax of Gaffney, Julia Cooper (Donnie) of Gaffney and Sandra Frady (Arthur) of Gaffney; and her grandchildren, Michael Reynolds, Anna Reynolds, Noah Patterson and James "J. D." Thomas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
