She was predeceased by: her husband Millard Garland; and her parents, Louis Scruggs and Dovie Crimson Scruggs. She is survived by: her children, Leon Garland of Gaffney, David Scruggs of Gaffney and Debra Dalton (Michael) of Gaffney; her brother L. C. Scruggs of Chesnee; and her grandchildren, Jason Garland, Jamie Hamrick (Dennis), Crystal Wicks (Daniel), Melissa Caine (Justin) and Andrea Sparr (Keith). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
