She was predeceased by: her husband Max DeFoy Hines; her parents, Hal Sherry Mintz and Ruby Poole Mintz; her daughter Susan Hines Mason; and her siblings, Emmalee McCraw, Earlene Roberson, Maggie Hawkins, Johnnie Scruggs, Jack Mintz, Knox Mintz, Chelve Mintz and Joe Mintz.
She is survived by: her son Scott Hines (Margaret) of Greenwood; her grandchildren, Michael Cromer (Tanner Lang) and Oliva Cromer; and her great grandchild Cole Cromer.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Blakely Funeral Home & Crematory (1047 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
