He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Myers Mardis; and his parents, James Mardis and Marion Mardis. He is survived by: his sons, Dennis Mardis (Laura) of Johns Island and Perry Mardis (Malagni) of Gaffney; his grandchildren, Rob Mardis, Kate Bell (Travis), Patrick Mardis (Michelle) and Abigail Annas (Alan); his sister Peggy Thompson; and his sister-in-law Sandy Mardis. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
