With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Richards Sr. of Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on July 17, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Richards and Dorothy Lawson Blanton; his stepfather Walter Blanton; and his son-in-law Buck Rogers. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Beattie Richards; his children, Billy Richards, Jr. (Paula) of Gaffney and Traci Richards Rogers (Eddie Childers) of Gaffney; his sister Judy Blanton Allison (Danny) of Gaffney; his grandchildren, Casey Richards (Christine), Colby Richards, Chloe Richards, Caden Richards, Lauren Allison (Clay) and Caitlyn Rogers; and his great grandchildren, Kaileb Richards, Colton Allison, Kagan Allison, Matthew Richards, Aiden Richards and John Alan.
