It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barry Hydrick of Gaffney, South Carolina, born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on August 30, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob William Hydrick and Rubylyn Schumpert Hydrick; and his son Christopher Douglas Hydrick (Meredith Creech). He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Hydrick Cauthen (William) of Cheraw and Celeste Hydrick Hatch (David) of Anderson; his sisters, Harriett Clamp (Douglas) of Pickens and Kathy Patterson (Steve) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Joshua Hatch, Caden Cauthen, Hailey Hatch, Elizabeth Hydrick, Lillian Hatch, Bayley Hydrick and Cooper Hatch; and his close friend John Evans (Diane) of Hendersonville, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
