She was predeceased by: her husband Otis Smith Sr.; her parents, Herbert Keller and Eva Benton Keller; her children, Patricia Smith, Opal Gail Smith Owensby, Otis Lester Smith Jr. "Richard" and Joey Randall Smith; her grandson Scott Smith; and her great grandchildren, Curtis Zane Owensby and Immanuel Lester Owensby "Melmel".
She is survived by: her granddaughter Jessica Seagle; her great grandchildren, Opal Garrett and Selena Paige Owensby of Spartanburg; her grandson Floyd Curtis Owensby III; and her great grandchild Dontavious Garrett. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
