She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Hill; her parents, Gates Herman Humphries and Bonnie Jackson Humphries; her siblings, Pauline H. Peeler and C. Herman "Bud" Humphries; and her nephew Britain Humphries.
She is survived by: her son Clark Hill of Spartanburg; her sister Lucille Painter (Ernest) of Gaffney; and her close friends, Terry Swofford of Gaffney and Shelly Hunter of Gaffney. She is also survived by two nephews, one niece.
