It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Welch Sr. of Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on August 4, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Jackson Welch and Sue Nell Bowers Welch. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Catoe Welch; his children, Alan Christopher Welch, Jr. (Allison) of Charlotte, NC and Courtney Ruminski (Greg) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his brothers, Dean Welch (Beverly) of Murrells Inlet, SC, David Welch (Susan) of Yadkinville, NC and Jody Welch (Sandra) of Boiling Springs, SC; and his grandchildren, Tripp Welch, Maggie Welch, Elle Ruminski and Luc Ruminski.
