He was predeceased by: his parents, James Franklin Montgomery and Hennie Oliver Montgomery; his sisters, Peggy Skoler and Patricia Arndt; his brothers-in-law, Mort Skoler and Otto Arndt; and his brother Ronald Joseph Montgomery.
He is survived by: his spouse Scarlet Angeline Ferguson Montgomery; his former wife Sandra A. Montgomery of Cleveland, GA; his children, Kirk Montgomery (Kim) of Atlanta, GA, Lora M. Warren (Robert) of Monroe, GA and Katrice Montgomery of Cumming, GA; his grandchildren, Heather Warren Dollar, Meredith Warren Cook, Alex Warren, Nicole Burruss, Kathleen Montgomery, Barbara Montgomery, Lillie Montgomery, Travis Gordon, Cameron Gordon and Teddy Gordon; his great grandchildren, Luke, Lawson Burruss, Emma Kate, Grant, Lydia, Hudson Cook, Savannah, Sophia Dollar, Walker, Addi Ann Warren, Sawyer, Daniel and Mia Gordon; his father-in-law Charles Ferguson of Ft. Payne, AL; his brother-in-law Dan Ferguson (Michelle) of Ft. Payne, AL; and his niece Renee Stogner (Lee) of Manning. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
