He was predeceased by: his parent Walter Jefferson Blackwell; and his siblings, Albert Blackwell, Winford Blackwell, Mary Scruggs and Betty Sue Owens.
He is survived by: his parent Emmie White Blackwell; and his brother Paul Blackwell (Vickie) of Gaffney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
