Mac McCrary Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mac McCrary of Furman, South Carolina, born in Savannah, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2024 at the age of 37. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Janet Mixon McCrary; and his grandparents, Betty Cook Mixon, Charles Wilbur McCrary and Thomas Conway Mixon, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife ZoE Henderson McCrary; his children, MaryHarrison, Crew and Ford McCrary of Furman; his father Charles "Glenn" McCrary; his grandmother Evelyn McCrary of Estill; his sisters, Karla Harriott (Cary) of Estill and Kristan McCrary of Greenville; and his nieces and nephews, Hance, Rowe, Coleman, Lucy, Bo and Mixon.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, Hampton Chapel (300 Mulberry St W, Hampton, SC 29924). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Furman Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Patrick Henry Academy or Furman Baptist Church in memory of Mac McCrary.
