He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Furman K. Mitchum, Sr. and Janice Shurlknight Mitchum; his son Brandon Kary Mitchum; his wife Allison Thames Mitchum; his son Marshall Mitchum (Schyler) of Alvin; his brother Bartie Mitchum (Sonya) of Alvin; his nephews, Logan Mitchum and Josh Mitchum; and his great-nephews, Brantley and Oakland.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dial-Murray Funeral Home (300 W Main St, Moncks Corner, SC 29461). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Peaceful Woods Cemetery (1195 Peaceful Woods Rd, St Stephen, SC 29479).
