He was predeceased by: his parents, James Madison Humphries and Anna Fagg Humphries; his son John Cain Humphries; and his brother James F. Humphries. He is survived by: his sister Ellen; his brother-in-law Don Bracewell of Decatur, GA; his daughter-in-law Susan Willis Humphries of Marietta, GA; his granddaughter Jennifer Cain Humphries of Woodstock, GA; and his friends, John and Betty Brannan of Pawleys Island. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
