He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Gerald Thackston and George Merck. He is survived by: his parents, Gerald Wendell Thackston and Rhonda Renee Merck Thackston; his daughter Emerson Davis; his sisters, Allison Rhodes (Casey) and Danyel Fults (Justin Harms); his grandmothers, Freddie Thackston and Rose Malea Merck; and his nieces and nephews, Ryan Fults, Landon Fults, Callie Rhodes, Cambry Rhodes and Colton Rhodes.
