She was predeceased by: her parents, William Oscar "Obie" Smith and Anna Mae Owens Smith; her daughter-in-law Denise Hudson; and her siblings, Harold Smith, David Smith, Margaret Ford, Martha Strickland and Lola Mae Case.
She is survived by: her children, James Hudson (Larae), Steve Hudson, Junior Hudson (Stephanie) and Debra Phillips (Joe); her brother Willie Smith; her grandchildren, Jamie Hudson, Carlie Barrett, Jason Phillips (Sarah), Brittnie Hudson, Haley Barrett and Noah Hudson; and her great grandchildren, Chubbs, Jennifer "NuNu", Alaina, Aria, Mia and Brody.
