He was predeceased by: his parents, William Zane and Barbara Prescott Merrick Zane; and his brother William Zane. He is survived by: his wife Susan Marie Nee Zane; his daughter Susie King (Jeremy); and his siblings, Ronald Zane (Gail), Katherine Covington (Jeffrey) and Patricia McNeill.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Fletcher Funeral Service (1218 N Main St, Fountain Inn, SC 29644). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Faith Baptist Church (906 SC-14, Simpsonville, SC 29681). A burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Graceland East Memorial Park (2206 Woodruff Rd, Simpsonville, SC 29681).
