It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pauline Schofield (Fountain Inn, South Carolina), born in Gray Court, South Carolina, who passed away on October 18, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Roy E. Schofield; her parents, William Furman Cooley and Lizzie Mae Collins Cooley; her siblings, William Cooley and Sara James; and her brothers-in-law, Dwight Martin, Jerry Fulbright and Loy James.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jane (John McCarter), Ann (Rick Wynn) and Beth (Joe Scherpenberg); her siblings, Ralph Cooley (June), Martha Martin and Betty Fulbright; her sister-in-law Juanita Cooley; her grandchildren, Matthew McCarter (Maranatha), Meredith McCarter (Nolan Hazelbaker), Leslie Reid (A. J.) and Hampton Stroble; and her great grandchildren, Lux, Vivian, Obie, Dash and Banner.
