With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma Jean Wilburn Thomason of Fountain Inn, South Carolina, who passed away on December 13, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett "Buck" Bishop and Catherine Lucille Knox Bishop; her sisters, Maxine Bishop and Cheryl McMullen; her former husband Henry Wales Wilburn, Jr.; her husband David McDowell Thomason; and her grandson Christopher Marcus McGee.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tina Wilburn, Risa, Tammy Wilburn Werts (Larry) and Cathy Wilburn Robinson (Eugene); her granddaughter Amanda Robinson Engley (Cameron); her great grandchild Reed Engley; and her sister Vicky Hammond.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Southeast Chapel (1604 NE Main St, Simpsonville, SC 29681). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
