He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Vera June Twitty Stang; his parents, Joseph Peter Stang and Evangelyn Faye Kulbe Stang; his children, Howard Matthew Stang and Lori Christine Rector; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Sweeney (Matt), Jessica Martin, Samantha Sandeberg (Mike) and Trinity Stang; and his great grandchildren, Shawn Jaco, Bradie Sweeney, Connor Sweeney, Forrest Harris, Charles Harris, Robert Harris, Ella McCollough and Austin McCollough.
