She was predeceased by: her parents, J. D. (Eva Wilson Stover) and Mary Lou; her husbands, James Alvin Whitten and Jack Leon Cox; her daughters, Kathy Whitten Felts and Ann Whitten Hyman; and her siblings, Carl Stover, Jimmy Stover, Don Stover, Gary Stover and Janis Stover Davis.
She is survived by: her aunt Roo; her children, Linda Whitten Johnson of Columbia and Mike Whitten (Toni) of Simpsonville; and her grandchildren, Kevin Johnson (Jennifer), Ashley Temple (Rob), Melony Harlan (James), Melissa Posey, Kayla Dalton (Rhys) and Allison Whitten. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
