She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne Charles Woods; her parents, William Pinkney Thackston and Elizabeth Jane Leopard Thackston; her son Randy Woods; and her siblings, Lawrence Thackston, Avery Thackston, Fred Thackston, Haskell Thackston, Hazel Smith and Bertha Ferguson.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Cabaniss; her siblings, Alvin Thackston (Myra) and Blanche Taylor (David); her granddaughters, Haley Cabaniss, Taylor Cabaniss, Sadie Cabaniss and Katherine O'Shields; and her great grandchildren, Aubrey Coleman and Autumn Coleman.
