She was predeceased by: her husband S. Clifford Paxton Sr.; her parents, Bennie Franklin and Janie Nelson Hill; and her daughter Tonya Denise Paxton Knight. She is survived by: her sons, Spurgeon Paxton Jr. (Connie) and Talmadge Paxton; her granddaughters, Nisa DelVecchio (Teddy) and Brandi Blackwell (Caz); her great grandchildren, Chyanne Davenport (Kemani), Sharon Blackwell, Patricia Blackwell and Jacob DelVecchio; and her great great grandchildren, Alba Davenport, Zola Davenport, Cassius Duckett and Brayden McGuckian.
