He was predeceased by: his wife Joann Liguori Mattioli; his parents, Alvaro Mattioli and Bertha Zelius Mattioli; and his sister Anita Pietsch. He is survived by: his daughters, Gina Negovetic (Neal), Diane Farrugia (George) and Dana Mattioli (Bobby); his grandchildren, Julianne Trejo (Bryant), Boo and Crissana; his great grandchild Joey; his niece Susan Bradley; his nephews, Billy, Bobby and Tommy Cappiello; and his pets, Brutus and Caesar.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fletcher Funeral Service (1218 N Main St, Fountain Inn, SC 29644). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
