He was predeceased by: his spouse Holli LaJune Hembree Knight; his parents, James Henry Knight and Bessie Ilene Thackston Knight; and his siblings, Charles Knight and Mary "Bud" Fuller.
He is survived by: his sons, Jamie Knight (Beth) and Josh Knight (Becky); his sisters, Betty Smith, Doris Morgan, Edna "Bo" Reid (Johnny) and Lois Stoddard; his grandson Jesse Knight (Christina); and his great grandchildren, Paisley and Jase.
