He is survived by: his wife Alice Faye Garrett; his children, Dwayne Garrett, Faye Calhoun (Larry), L'Tanya Hager (John) and Marcus Garrett; and his grandchildren, Dominique Garrett, Patience Garrett, Maddie Garrett, April Lewis, Nicholas Calhoun, Octavius Garrett, John Willis-Cox and Marcus Childs. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
