She was predeceased by: her great-niece Rachel Anderson McDannald; and her brothers-in-law, Jack W. B. McDannald and William Gordon Garrett. She is survived by: her husband Preston E. Garrett; her children, Casey Bagwell (Tres), Robin Thackston (Kurt), Kristin Tripp (Thomas) and Katie Benninger (Bobby); her grandchildren, Hunter (Savannah) and P. T.; her children, McKinley, Crayton Bagwell, Haley, Anna, James Thackston, Grace, Audrey, Wyatt, Baby Tripp, Ian, Evelyn and Cullen Benninger; her pet Bridget; her aunts, Martha and Shirley; and her close friend Cindy Jenkins.
