He is survived by: his wife Carla Basden Scott; his children, Richard M Humphries (Tasha) of Fountain Inn, Benjamin Jason Humphries of Simpsonville, Jennifer Nell Garrett (Donald) of Belton and Jamie Lynne Bostic (Larry) of Fountain Inn; his siblings, Jim Scott (Kathy) of Pelzer and Frances Crone (Raymond) of Williamston; and his grandchildren, Matthew Heil (Hannah Cumbie), Carley Pitts (Travis), Christopher Zito, Shawn Vickery (Payton Poole), Ernest Bostic (Aniston), Hagen Bostic, Taylor Turner (C. J. Ramsey), Tyler Turner and Gracie Bright.
