She was predeceased by: her husband Charles August Lemke; her parents, Benjamin Tillman Taylor, Sr. and Mattie Martha Sloan Taylor; her sons, Derrick Kay and Bobby Kay; and her siblings, Bud Taylor, Martha Thoreson, Hester Taylor, Clara Hughes, Blanch Burts and Frances Huntley.

She is survived by: her children, Wayne Kay, Jr. (Beth), Darrell Kay (Rena), Mark Kay (Patti), Cheri Turner (Carl Junior) and Karen Kay; her daughter-in-law Kim Kay; her brother Ben Taylor (Barbara); her grandchildren, Jeff Kay, Angela Sellers, Brittany Kay, Crystal Watson, Rusty Kay, Christy Kay, Kayla Kay, Kristina Harbin, Jessica Sager, Amber Anthony, Acacia Kay, Jaryn Kay and Jayce Kay; and her friend Angie Thoreton. She is also survived by twenty-three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
