He was predeceased by: his wife Lisa Renee Heil; his parents, Posey Stewart Hudson and Pearl Azalee Carlton Hudson; his stepfather Philip "Phil" Mauk; and his sister Karen George.
He is survived by: his sons, Barry Hudson II, Brad Hudson (Amber), Cody Hudson, Jody Hudson (Ashley) and Chris Ellison (Suzanne); his siblings, Mike Hudson, Scott Hudson, Kathy Hinton and Tracy Riner; and his grandchildren, Jade, Hannah, Tara, Natalie, Jo-Jo, Lexi, Bradley, Jayden, Tyler, Brayden, Bentlee, Bella and Zachary.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fletcher Funeral Service (1218 N Main St, Fountain Inn, SC 29644). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Westview Memorial Park (5740 US-76, Laurens, SC 29360).
